The main responsibilities of Yixing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau are:
1. Implement human resources and social security laws, regulations and rules; Implement national, provincial and Wuxi human resources and social security development plans and policies, formulate the city's human resources and social security development plans and policies, formulate normative documents on human resources and social security, formulate corresponding management standards and management norms implementation methods, and organize implementation, supervision and inspection;

Coordinate the establishment of a social security system covering urban and rural areas in the city, coordinate the formulation and implementation of relevant policies and standards for urban and rural social insurance and supplementary insurance, coordinate the formulation of basic old-age insurance policies for enterprises and institutions in the city and gradually improve the overall level of funds, formulate measures for the collection, payment, management, operation and supervision of social insurance and supplementary insurance funds in the city, implement the unified national social insurance relationship transfer and continuation measures and the national overall planning measures for basic pensions, and be responsible for compiling, reviewing and summarizing the draft budget and final accounts of social insurance funds in the city and supervising the implementation;
5 responsible for the city's employment, unemployment, social insurance fund forecast and information guidance, formulate response plans, implement prevention and control, and maintain the stability of the employment situation and the overall balance of social insurance funds;
6 in conjunction with the relevant departments to develop the city's organs and institutions personnel wage income distribution policy, the establishment of organs, enterprises and institutions of normal wage growth and payment security mechanism, the development of organs, enterprises and institutions of welfare and retirement policies;
7 in conjunction with the relevant departments to guide the reform of the personnel system of public institutions in the city, and formulate management policies for public institutions and government staff.
