What is the difference between the new People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law and the old People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law?

It's basically the same. Article 16 adds a two-year incontestable clause, also known as incontestable clause. Its basic content is: after a certain period of time (usually two years), the life insurance contract becomes an irrefutable document, and the insurer can no longer claim that the insurance contract is invalid from the beginning on the grounds that the applicant violates the principle of utmost good faith and fails to fulfill the obligation to inform. Adding force majeure clauses to insurance contracts is a measure to protect the interests of the insured and limit the rights of the insurer. In the revised draft (draft for review), the insurance contract law first included the "non-defense" clause, and the defense period was two years. The specific content is: "The insured fails to fulfill the obligation of telling the truth, even if the consequences are enough to affect the insurer's decision on whether to agree to underwrite or increase the insurance rate, the insurance company may not terminate the contract after two years." So the new Insurance Law officially put this clause into use on June, 2009 10.
