If some employees fail to pay the basic old-age insurance premium due to the employer's reasons, the employer may submit a written application to the labor and social security department, and submit proof of labor relations with the insured during the application period, as well as proof of wage income. After confirmation, enterprises and individual employees shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium from the month when enterprises and individuals jointly pay.

The Beijing Social Insurance Fund Management Center announced on 20161June 1 1 that from now on, eligible employers can apply for social insurance for their employees for nearly three months directly online through the "Beijing Social Insurance Online Service Platform".

There are two conditions for online social security payment declaration. The employer has signed the payment agreement of Beijing Social Insurance Bank with banks and social security institutions, and applied for the digital certificate of Beijing Municipal Government. Eligible employers can log on to "Beijing Social Insurance Online Service Platform" from 5th to 25th every month and select "Unit Declares Individual Payment" to operate.
