How many years is the validity of the social security card?

The validity standard of social security card is as follows: 1. The applicant is under 16 years old, and has a new social security card, which is under 16 years old and valid for 6 years.

2. Applicants between the ages of 16 and 26 apply for a new social security card, and those between the ages of 16 and 26, the card is valid for 10 years.

3. Applicants aged from 26 to 60 will get a new social security card, and the validity period of 26 to 60 will be 20 years.

Article 57 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law: The employing unit shall, within 30 days from its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration with its business license, registration certificate or unit seal. The social insurance agency shall, within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application, examine and issue the social insurance registration certificate. Where the social insurance registration items of the employing unit are changed or the employing unit is terminated according to law, it shall, within 30 days from the date of change or termination, go to the social insurance agency to handle the change or cancellation of social insurance registration.
