2. Card application: The applicant carries his/her ID card and goes to the fast card-making outlets set up by the provincial social security card cooperative banks to apply for the card on the spot. Eligible people can generally get a new social security card on the spot.

3. Activation: Persons who have received the social security card but have not activated the social security function can activate it at any social security card agency service outlet in the province, directly at the social security card service outlet set up by the issuing bank, or by activating the financial function at the bank outlet.
