Individual social insurance merger process

Legal analysis: 1. First, bring the original ID card to the nearest social security service agency in the town and the social security agencies in various districts to merge the personal social security number, and then cancel the terminated personal social security number at the local tax department. 2. For the merged individual social security numbers caused by incorrect ID numbers or names of two individual social security numbers, it shall be handled in the following ways: if the reserved ID numbers and names are correct, and the merger numbers are suspended, if the ID numbers or names are wrong, the social security agency will merge the individual social security numbers, and then the local tax department will directly cancel the merger numbers; If the ID number or name of the reserved number is wrong, and the merged number is suspended and correct, the social security agency will issue a business cooperation letter asking the local tax department to modify the personal basic information first, and then return to the social security agency to operate according to the business process of the original merged personal social security number. 3. For the insured who has the history of urban workers' payment and the experience of endowment insurance for urban and rural residents, rural residents and landless farmers, due to different identities, there are multiple personal social security numbers, and they will be processed when they reach the legal retirement age.

Legal basis: Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall, within 30 days from its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration with its business license, registration certificate or unit seal. The social insurance agency shall, within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application, examine and issue the social insurance registration certificate. Where the social insurance registration items of the employing unit are changed or the employing unit is terminated according to law, it shall, within 30 days from the date of change or termination, go to the social insurance agency to handle the change or cancellation of social insurance registration. The market supervision and management department, the civil affairs department and the organization management organ shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the establishment and termination of the employing unit, and the public security organ shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the birth, death, household registration, migration and cancellation of the individual.
