After giving birth to a child, apply for the relevant certificates, and then bring the medical registration form, hospital discharge summary (stamped), marriage certificate, family register, ID card and other relevant documents, and then the unit operator to the social security bureau to apply for maternity allowance claim.
Maternity allowance is a living expense given to working women during the period when they are away from work due to childbirth, as stipulated by national laws and regulations. China's maternity allowance payment methods and payment standards are divided into two cases: First, in areas where the social coordination of maternity insurance is implemented, the payment standard is based on the standard of the average monthly salary of the employees of the enterprise in the previous year, for a period of not less than 98 days; Second, in areas where the social coordination of maternity insurance is not carried out, the maternity allowance is paid by the enterprise or the unit, and the standard is the basic salary of the female worker before giving birth to a baby and the price subsidy, and the period is The duration is generally 98 days. (1) To meet the conditions for receiving maternity allowance:

Legal basis:
Article 54 of the Maternity Insurance Regulations stipulates that if an employer has paid maternity insurance premiums, its employees shall be entitled to maternity insurance benefits; and the employee's unemployed spouse shall be entitled to treatment of maternity medical expenses in accordance with state regulations. The funds required are paid from the Maternity Insurance Fund. Maternity insurance benefits include maternity medical expenses and maternity allowances.
Article 55 of the Regulations on Maternity Insurance stipulates that maternity medical expenses include the following: (1) medical expenses for childbirth; (2) medical expenses for family planning; and (3) expenses for other items stipulated by laws and regulations.
