What is the procedure for social security

The procedure for social security is that the unit first applies to the social security agency and submits the application materials; then the social security agency examines the application and accepts it if it meets the conditions; then it registers the application and notifies the unit or the worker to collect the social security card; and finally, the unit or the worker pays the monthly contributions.

Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China (P.R.C.) Employers shall, within thirty days from the date of their establishment, apply for social insurance registration with the local social insurance agency by presenting their business licenses, certificates of registration, or seals of the agency. The social insurance agency shall examine and approve the application within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the application and issue the social insurance registration document. Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China An employer shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to a social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the employer fails to register for social insurance, the social insurance agency shall approve the social insurance contributions to be paid by the employer. Individual entrepreneurs without employees who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time workers who do not participate in social insurance with their employers, and other flexibly employed persons shall apply for social insurance registration with the social insurance administration organization. The State establishes a nationally unified individual social security number. Individual social security numbers are citizens' identity numbers.
