Can I check my medical history with my social security card?

Legal analysis: at present, social security cards can't find historical medical records online, because the social security card systems in various places are independent and interconnected with local social security management institutions, contracted medical institutions and pharmacies, and social security management institutions can check everyone's historical medical records. The contracted medical institutions and pharmacies can't check each other, but they can check the historical medical records in the social security management institution with their cards.

Legal basis: Article 23 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Criminal Law Amendment (IX) adds one article after Article 280 of the Criminal Law as one of Article 280. Whoever uses forged, altered or embezzled other people's identity cards, passports, social security cards, driver's licenses and other documents that can prove his identity according to law in activities that should prove his identity in accordance with state regulations, if the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to criminal detention or control and shall also, or shall only, be fined.

Whoever commits the acts mentioned in the preceding paragraph and constitutes other crimes shall be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions of heavier punishment.
