The social security card has been issued. Do you need to activate?

The social security card needs to be activated before it can be used.

There are three ways to activate the social security card:

1, bank activation

Bring your valid ID card and social security card to the bank where the social security card is opened (marked on the card) and ask the counter staff who will help you activate it. Activating the social security card requires face authentication and must be done in person.

2. Social security institutions are activated.

If it is a new social security card, the field staff can help them activate the social security card when the social security bureau receives it.

3. Phone activation

If it is inconvenient to go out, you can also try to call the social security service hotline to activate it. You can follow the voice prompts or press "0" directly to switch to manual service.
