1. Social security is paid monthly and cannot be bought out at one time.

2. Individuals with rural household registration cannot apply for self-paid social security, and can only pay social security through employment units.

3. The rural registered population can purchase new rural endowment insurance at the village committee or community neighborhood committee where the household registration is located.
