Tianjin Binhai Automobile Engineering Vocational College (Tianqi Vocational College for short) is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by Tianjin Municipal People's Government and established by the Ministry of Education for the record. It is the third batch of modern apprenticeship institutions and the "1+X" certificate system of the Ministry of Education. The college takes "educating people with morality" as its fundamental task and adheres to the school motto of "cultivating oneself with morality and specializing in technical fields" to further promote school-enterprise cooperation.

The College is located in Gegu Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin, which is a national characteristic town famous for its rich historical and cultural heritage and distinctive intelligent manufacturing industry chain. With convenient transportation and pleasant environment, it is adjacent to the beautiful Binhai Lake Park in the east and Haihe Education Park in the national vocational education reform and innovation demonstration zone in the west.

The college has two campuses, covering an area of 460,000 square meters and a building area of 1.23 million square meters, including classrooms, learning and training centers, libraries, student apartments, standard stadiums and other infrastructure that combine theory with practice.
