Honors related to Suofengying Hydropower Station

The Special Report on Karst Leakage of Suofengying Hydropower Station Reservoir in Wujiang River won the first prize of excellent engineering consulting achievement in Guizhou Province in 2005. "Design of Suofengying Hydropower Station in Wujiang, Guizhou" won the first prize of the 15th Excellent Engineering Design in Guizhou Province in 2008; "Engineering Geological Survey of Suofengying Hydropower Station in Wujiang, Guizhou Province" won the first prize of the 12th Excellent Engineering Survey in Guizhou Province in 2008.

On 20th11May17th, Guizhou Provincial Archives Bureau organized an evaluation expert group to make a comprehensive evaluation on the file management of Suofengying Power Plant. The evaluation expert group listened to the report on the file management of Suofengying Power Plant, evaluated the file consciousness of leading cadres, the satisfaction of file work in various work services and the professional skills of file staff on the spot, and inspected the file management of Suofengying Power Plant on the spot. After comprehensive evaluation, the file management of Suofengying Power Plant has reached the five-star standard of enterprise file management in Guizhou Province.

Suofengying Power Plant is one of the first projects of "Power Transmission from West to East" in Guizhou Province, with an installed capacity of 3×200MW. Construction started on July 26th, 2002, when the river was cut off. On February 6th, 2005, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Hu Jintao, president inspected the Suofengying site, and fully affirmed the environmental protection work in the construction of Suofengying Power Station. On August 23, 2005, the first unit was connected to the grid for power generation, and on February 23, 2005, Unit 2 was put into operation, achieving the goal of "double input" for one year. On June 5, 2006, all three units were put into commercial operation. Comrade Zeng Jian, deputy director of Guizhou Provincial Archives Bureau, attended the judging meeting and delivered a speech. He said that Suofengying Power Plant passed the special acceptance of engineering archives in May 2007, and was awarded the honorary title of "National Excellent Collective of Archives Work" by the National Archives Bureau and the Central Archives in February 2007.
