Tazicheng site is located in the northwest of Tailai Town. It is 50 kilometers away from Nenjiang River in the east, to Chuo 'er River in the north, around Huerda River along the east wall in the north, and to Solet Banner 16 kilometers in the north. Suotai Highway passes through the city and is located in Yao Chong. The city is full of sandy farmland, and the walls are covered with drought-tolerant Maogang grass. In addition to houses, shops and small-scale industrial workshops, most of the cities are cultivated land for growing fruits and vegetables. Tazicheng is the largest ancient city in Liao Dynasty in our province. Used in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, it was called Chuo 'er City in Qing Dynasty. The city site is square, with a perimeter of nearly 4.5 kilometers. There are four clay pots, and there are two moats around the city. The southwest suburb of the ancient city was originally a hexagonal brick tower with dense eaves in Liao Dynasty (now collapsed), so it was named Tazicheng. In the seventh year of Da 'an in Liao Dynasty (AD 109 1), important cultural relics such as stone carvings were unearthed in the city. Tazicheng is one of the important towns in the north after Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. In the Liao Dynasty, Taizhou transferred Yanqing as an official, and the military affairs belonged to the Northeast General Army Division. It was once the political, economic, cultural and military center of Liao in the northeast, with thick walls, magnificent buildings and ruins of Liao Tower. The seven-year-old broken stone carvings in Da 'an and the excavation of a large number of Liao and Jin relics provide important physical materials for studying the administrative system, historical geography, urban defense construction and evolution of Liao and Jin in western Heilongjiang. On May 25, 2006, it was announced as a national cultural relics protection unit.

Tazicheng is the earliest developed ancient city in Tailai County and one of the three existing ancient cities in Heilongjiang Province. The city was built in Liao Dynasty, and it has been nearly a thousand years. The seven-year remains of Da 'an in Liao Dynasty unearthed in Tazicheng 1953 confirmed that the exact date of the city's construction should be Taizhou in Liao Dynasty. According to "Liao History Geography", "Taizhou, Dechang Army, thrifty. This pasture of 20 tribes in Qidan, because the black rat clan (black-car clan) repeatedly violated Tonghua House (now the ancient city of Taohai in the west of Hailar), the people could not resist, and moved 600 miles to the southeast to build a city and live in it, so as to be close to their family. "The city it built is today's Tower City. At that time, Tonghua was changed to Taizhou, and in the seventh year of Jinkui (109 1), a solid brick tower with six dense eaves and a diameter of about 5 meters was built to commemorate the Chuer River levee.

After the Jin Dynasty destroyed Liao, Tianfu immigrated to Taizhou for five years (1 12 1), and the famous Lu Huo stationed here for a long time. With the rise of Mongolia in the north, the political center of Jin moved south. In the twenty-five years of Dading (1 185), Taizhou moved south to Changchun, and the old Taizhou was reduced to Jin 'an County. In the Qing Dynasty, the Chu Er River was named Chu Er City. In the thirty-second year of Guangxu (1906), the Dalai Lama Temple set up a defense experience yamen in Chuo 'er City, and named it Tazi City after the tower.

In the past thousand years, Tazi City has been reduced to ruins and rebuilt several times. It has always been the seat of state and county governments and is still a big town. 1956, tazicheng was identified as the first batch of provincial cultural relics protection units; In 2006, it was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

The existing cultural relics in Tazi Town include the ancient city wall, moat, city gate, two ancient architecture sites in Yuan Dynasty, Liao Tower site, Liao Jin sarcophagus tomb, Jishi tomb, clay pot tomb and burial tomb.

The research, development, protection and utilization of Liao and Jin cultural heritage in Tazicheng have far-reaching historical and practical significance for inheriting historical civilization and building Qiqihar's frontier cultural city.

Today's Tazi City has experienced thousands of years of wind, frost, rain and snow, but the city walls, gates and inner platforms are still visible, especially the highest point of the surrounding city walls is about seven meters, which is a well-preserved ancient city site. Rescuing, excavating and protecting Tazicheng culture in Liao and Jin Dynasties will surely make Tazicheng, which has been closed for a long time, glow with splendid civilization.
