Why do we young people dislike visiting relatives more and more?

Some young people are reluctant to visit relatives, which may be because their lifestyle, culture and values have changed, which is often very different from the values of their parents and grandparents, causing inconvenience in communication and exchange, and may also bring some contradictions and frictions to their families.

In addition, the development of technologies such as social media and the Internet also makes people more willing to communicate through the Internet and social platforms, rather than visiting relatives and friends around them.

Once, a friend of mine shared his experience with me. He told me that he lived in the suburbs of their city for one menstrual period and invited his family to his house every Spring Festival, but he was very reluctant to go.

He said that his period was not very close this time. Every time he went, he ate and drank tea, and he had to help with some chores. It doesn't make sense. He might as well sleep at home or play games.

Of course, this phenomenon has also caused some concerns. For example, it may weaken the intimacy and communication efficiency of interpersonal relationships and weaken the emotional connection between relatives, which is not conducive to the inheritance of family culture and the maintenance of family customs.

Therefore, we also need to promote changes and progress in the family, social and cultural environment, so that relatives can be more intimate, open and understand each other. At the same time, we also need to guide and manage technology and social media more reasonably, so that they can become tools to enhance interpersonal communication, rather than sources of pressure to alienate and dislike communication between relatives.
