To apply for civil servants in Shanghai, the staff of public institutions in Shanghai must obtain the consent of the original unit before they can apply for the exam:

I. Application conditions

(1) Having China nationality;

(2) 18 years old, under 35 years old (born between19791.2), and the age of master's and doctoral students (non-employed) may be appropriately relaxed to 40 years old.

(4) Having good conduct;

(5) Having the physical conditions to perform their duties normally;

(seven) with a bachelor's degree or above (approved by the municipal civil service department of the public security system of special police positions and outstanding village (neighborhood) cadres targeted recruitment positions can be relaxed to college education);

Applicants for the posts of people's police in the public security and judicial systems must take and pass the physical fitness tests prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice.

To apply for the post of township civil servant, you must have a local household registration, or have a master's degree or above, hold a residence permit in Shanghai for more than one year (still within the validity period), and the score reaches the standard score of 120 or above.

According to the Civil Service Law and its related regulations, the on-the-job civil servants who have served for two years (including probation period) but are still in the five-year service period and the staff of the organs (units) managed according to the Civil Service Law must obtain the consent of their organs (units). Civil servants who are recruited by directional recruitment and staff of organs (units) who refer to the management of the Civil Service Law are not allowed to apply for the exam within the minimum service period.
