Can chefs apply for Singapore skilled immigration? What conditions are required?
Singapore’s skilled immigrants are for talents that the country is in urgent need of, usually high-skilled jobs. For chefs, there is no way to apply for skilled immigrants. What you apply for in Singapore in half a year is not a real immigration, but only 5 or 10 years of permanent residence. Not all jobs are available. You need at least an EP/SP pass and a monthly salary of more than 2,000 Singapore dollars to have hope. Two years after obtaining permanent residence, you can apply for Singapore citizenship. Only when the application is successful will the real immigration be considered successful.
