On the evening of May 13th, local time, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Zhengming said that Vietnam would temporarily stop the requirement of nucleic acid testing for immigrants from : on May 15th. According to this instruction, the Vietnamese Prime Minister asked the Vietnamese Ministry of Health to closely monitor the epidemic situation in order to give appropriate guidance.

according to the current regulations of the Ministry of health, people who enter Vietnam by air, road, water or railway need to undergo PCR nucleic acid detection within 72 hours or rapid detection within 24 hours. You can only enter the country if the test result is negative.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam on May 13th, 267 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Vietnam on May 13th, including 495 new cases in Hanoi, the capital, ranking first in the country. Up to now, 1,693,141 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Viet Nam, including 43,63 deaths.
