Characteristics of Jiangxi Vocational College of Biotechnology

The college pays attention to the cultivation of students' ability and strengthens the training of practical skills. The college employs veterans as class teachers, implements militarized management, and cultivates students' strict organizational discipline and good study and living habits. The College has increased investment, established three on-campus practice bases, jointly established postgraduate practice bases with Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Nanchang Aquatic Farm, and established more than 40 off-campus practice bases relying on professional scientific research units and production enterprises, which enabled students to integrate theory with practice and created good social conditions for their employment.

Jiangxi Institute of Biotechnology-Microsoft IT College is the first provincial-level demonstration Microsoft IT college in Jiangxi established by Jiangxi Institute of Biotechnology and Microsoft Corporation.

College has introduced online game development, animation design, 3G mobile phone, tablet computer development, Microsoft software engineer, Microsoft software tester, Microsoft software designer, Microsoft network engineer, website development engineer, Trojan horse technology direction of network information security hacker, e-commerce, e-government, etc. 10, combining university education with enterprise courses, technologies and orders, and opening up new ideas of school-enterprise cooperation. Students studied in school for one and a half years before, and then worked as interns in enterprises for one and a half years. Through "Microsoft IT Institute", students in our college can open a bigger window in the IT industry, build a higher platform and realize better personal development.

The college implements the double certificate system:

1. Diploma: After graduation, the students obtained the national junior college diploma of Jiangxi Institute of Biotechnology;

2. Global General Vocational Qualification Certificate: Qualified students will be certified by Microsoft in 90 countries around the world, thus obtaining skilled migration opportunities in Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtaining visa green cards.
