Qiu Xiaojun Yu 1979 studied under Mr. Geng Changbao, executive deputy director of the National Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee and a world-famous expert on ancient ceramics appraisal in the Palace Museum, as one of his second disciples. 198 1 year, as Geng's special assistant, helped him compile the book "Identification of Porcelain in Ming and Qing Dynasties" in Beijing, and was responsible for writing more than 600,000 words of the book, which lasted for several years. At present, this book has been recognized as a must-read for learning the identification of Ming and Qing porcelain, and it is also a model of "Geng Shi identification method". Some people praise it as the "Bible" for identifying Ming and Qing porcelain. After studying and working with Mr. Geng for more than ten years, under the guidance of his teacher, he traveled all over the country to major museums and cultural institutions, and inspected and identified hundreds of thousands of ancient ceramic treasures.

Since 1982, Qiu Xiaojun has been employed by Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau as a member of Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Group. Later, Qiu Xiaojun was repeatedly hired as a lecturer in ancient ceramics appraisal by the "Xi Cultural Relics Training Course" jointly organized by China Cultural Relics Headquarters, National Cultural Heritage Administration and the State General Administration of Customs and Shaanxi Wenbo Cadre Training Center. When Mr. Qiu Xiaojun was the head of the purchasing department of the cultural relics store, he appraised tens of thousands of precious cultural relics such as bronzes, ancient ceramics, ancient jade, inscriptions, paintings and miscellaneous antiques for the country. He is a well-known antique appraiser in China and was included in the Who's Who of Experts in China.

After immigrating to Hong Kong from 65438 to 0992, he not only opened a shop to deal in antiques, but also served as a lecturer in China ancient ceramics appraisal at Hong Kong Diqiu Culture School. Students came from all walks of life in Hong Kong. In recent ten years, he has been mainly engaged in personal practice, antique authenticity identification and commercial operation, and has been active in antique markets such as Hong Kong, Britain, the United States and Japan. He experienced the second big wave of antique counterfeiting in a hundred years, and had his own unique understanding of the characteristics of mainland imitations such as technology, variety, origin and famous craftsmen, and summed up his own set of identification methods. Its ability to identify fakes and research textual research also benefits from hundreds of thousands of ancient ceramics collected by hand in the past 30 years, and also benefits from the rich cultural heritage and inheritance of the ancient city of Xi' an, which has been influenced by it for decades.

Entrusted by "China Cultural Relics Information Consulting Center" in National Cultural Heritage Administration, China, in 2004, four precious China cultural relics were successfully won the Sotheby's Spring Auction in new york, USA for the first time, and arrived in China safely after several twists and turns, which was widely circulated by overseas Chinese media.

Mr Qiu Xiaojun currently lives in Hongkong and new york. Director and ceramic consultant of "Seeking Elegant Collection" of Hong Kong famous collectors' society, and member of Humanities Society of Chinese Association in new york, USA. Its profound cultural foundation, high-level antique appraisal research ability and good reputation in foreign industries have been recognized and affirmed by all parties. Recently, Qiu Xiaojun also participated in the "Treasure Hunt" column of CCTV Comprehensive Channel, and served as an expert in the "Huayu Gate" column of Henan TV Station.
