Hainan Provincial Examinations Bureau issued "Hainan Province 202 1 Implementation Measures for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities", which clearly explained the provisions of extra points for college entrance examination.

Extra points preferential policy

(a) national award items and scores:

1. Children of martyrs, plus 20 points.

2. During the service period, 20 points will be added to the retired soldiers who have won the second class merit or been awarded the honorary title by units above the theater (former military region).

3. Self-employed retired soldiers, plus 10.

4. Children of returned overseas Chinese, their relatives and children of returned overseas Chinese, plus 3 points.

5. Candidates in Taiwan Province Province (including candidates with household registration in Taiwan Province Province), add 3 points.

6. Minority candidates with registered permanent residence and their legal guardians in ethnic minority areas, who have completed the required number of years and graduated from high school in ethnic minority areas or cities and counties where ethnic minority areas are located, will be given 15 points.

Areas inhabited by ethnic minorities include cities and counties inhabited by ethnic minorities and towns inhabited by ethnic minorities. Cities and counties where ethnic minorities live in concentrated communities are Sanya, Dongfang, Wuzhishan, Ledong, Lingshui, Changjiang, Baoting, Qiongzhong and Baisha.

Towns inhabited by ethnic minorities are Yanglan Town, Nanfeng Town and Yaxing Town in Danzhou City, Changfeng Town, Li Ji Town, nanqiao town Town, Sangluo Town and Peking University Town in Wanning City, Huishan Town in qionghai city and Nankun Town in Tunchang City.

(two) local bonus items and scores:

1. Minority candidates whose household registration and legal guardian are in ethnic minority areas, who attended and graduated from schools in non-ethnic minority areas in high school, will be given 5 points.

2. Han candidates who have registered their household registration in ethnic minority areas for five years (introduced outstanding talents and active servicemen and their children for three years), studied in high schools in cities and counties where ethnic minorities live or where ethnic minority towns and villages are located for a specified number of years, and graduated from high schools in these areas, and applied for cities and counties in these areas at the same time, add 3 points.

3. Children of officers and men who have been stationed in Sansha for more than half a year and are still working in Sansha at the time of college entrance examination registration, plus 6 points.

4. The only child of rural population, plus 3 points.

(3) If the same candidate meets multiple conditions for extra points, it cannot be accumulated and the highest score is taken. The extra points for the college entrance examination are only used when filing, and whether to use them when enrolling is decided by the admissions school.

(4) Candidates who take the college entrance examination in any of the following circumstances and meet the admission requirements of relevant institutions of higher learning shall be given priority.

1. Children of soldiers who have won class II in peacetime or above in wartime.

2. Children of disabled soldiers from Grade 1 to Grade 4.

3. Children of soldiers killed in the line of duty.

4. Children of soldiers who have worked for more than 20 years in three kinds of hard and remote areas designated by the state and two kinds of islands designated by Xizang Autonomous Region and the PLA headquarters.

5. Children of soldiers who have worked in more than four kinds of hard and remote areas designated by the state or in special islands designated by the PLA headquarters for 10 years.

6. Children of aircrew who have been flying or grounded for less than 1 year or have reached the longest flight life.

7. Children of soldiers who have worked in the navy for 20 years.

8. Children of soldiers who have worked in aerospace and nuclear-related positions for a total of 15 years.

9. Children of martyrs and children of active servicemen apply for military schools.

(five) candidates in any of the following circumstances to participate in the college entrance examination, in line with the relevant college admission conditions, under the same conditions as other candidates, priority admission.

1. Candidates discharged from active service in the army.

2. Disabled police.
