The latest asylum immigration policy in the United States

The application for political asylum is divided into three parts:

1. Find a lawyer, discuss the reasons for applying for political asylum with the lawyer, and then submit the application materials.

2. Generally, one month after submitting the materials, the Immigration Bureau will arrange an interview with an interpreter for you, or you can ask a lawyer to accompany you in the interview, and the lawyer can defend you. If the immigration officer believes your application reasons in the interview, you can get a green card immediately.

It doesn't matter if the interview fails. Next, you have to go to court and let the immigration judge decide whether your case meets the criteria for political asylum. Litigation is divided into going to a small court (commonly known as the court) and going to a big court. Going to the small court is to meet the judge in charge of your case, check your personal information, and then set a time to go to the big court. When you go to court, lawyers and government prosecutors will discuss your case in front of the judge. Of course, you have to say something about yourself. The judge finally decides whether you can get a green card.
