Yaojiashan Hydropower Station is located in the eastern mountainous area of ??Liaoning Province, on the upper edge of Xinbin County 5 kilometers south of Hezhen, 200 meters upstream of Nancha Bridge, the end of the reservoir is located downstream of Mujia Electric Station and Dabao Village. The dam site is in the lower reaches of Suzi River, 22 kilometers away from the end of Dahuofang Reservoir. The controlled water surface above the dam site of the power station is 1,780 square kilometers. The multi-year average flow is 15.5 cubic meters/second, and the water diversion flow of the Ful River is 2.66 cubic meters/second. After the implementation of the second phase of the Hun River water diversion project, the water flow can be increased by 60 cubic meters/second, and the total storage capacity is 5.252 million cubic meters. The first phase of the project has an installed capacity of 16,000 kilowatts and an annual power generation of 48.59 million kWh. The second phase of the project has an installed capacity of 27,500 kilowatts and an additional annual power generation capacity of 85.26 million kWh.
