Why do post-90s freshmen always like to resign?
What was the national economic and social environment like in the 1990s?
At that time, he was still a teenager after 80. At that time, the internet had just begun to spread around the world. At that time, there were no computers and no smart phones. At that time, manufacturing and factories were rising, and employment was just beginning to be solved slowly. What should I do if I resign?
Even life and food and clothing have just been solved, and the pursuit of material life and even spiritual life has not yet begun, so the resignation rate is of course low.
Most importantly, how many freshmen were there at that time? The population base determined that there were few mobile jobs at that time, and it was not easy to find a job. In the 1990s, renting a house in Beijing earned 67,000 yuan a month. What about now? You have to face the competition of private cars. Sports is an army of millions of college students seeking jobs, so the high resignation rate of fresh graduates does not mean anything. In the 1990s, the environment didn't give you a chance to quit.
What is the national economic and social environment after 2000?
I was just a few years old then. I know that some state-owned enterprises in the north have gone bankrupt. My mother's state-owned enterprise was first acquired as a private enterprise, then changed from a private enterprise to a shareholding system, and finally closed down.
In this way, my mother has also become a laid-off worker, and as far as I know, the laid-off worker's card was only obtained a few years ago. At that time, the southern economy was good, the coastal cities were developed, and the Internet developed rapidly in China. The Internet industry has slowly started to rise, and migrant workers have begun to know that they have gone to the city to earn money, and doing business in the sea has become a business.
The Compulsory Education Law of 1986 was only implemented in 2006. I am a person who has taught primary school tuition. China has developed from a semi-agricultural society to a quasi-information society for more than 20 years, surpassing the economy. Education is also developing, the country is developing, industries are increasing, the speed of elimination is getting faster and faster, and the education level is getting higher and higher.
To sum up, when I graduate after 90 this year, it is also a time of rapid social development and change. Where there is development, there is elimination. The corresponding resignation is an elimination of one's career. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. This is not a maverick after 90, but a resignation after 90, just to find a career that is satisfactory to you.
Having said that, let me talk about my views as a post-90s generation.
I think resignation is unique to the post-90s generation, but it doesn't mean it's a bad thing.
The high resignation rate is not worth mentioning, because from a personal point of view, changing careers is because of dissatisfaction with the status quo. The post-90s generation is the only child. After being cultivated in the greenhouse, they are exposed to more fresh and interesting things in the university and want to show themselves. Even if they don't want to become a word of mouth, "people who change the world" will want to work hard for their youth. Just like those post-80s entrepreneurs, our mentality is the same.
For myself, I was born in a northern town at the junction of Inner Mongolia and Liaoning, which is not backward, but really not modern. People in this town do business and live, 100 yuan may eventually be transferred back to their own hands. This is such a small place.
Of course, the education in the north really lags behind that in the south, which is why after 2000, many rich children from the south immigrated to the north to study, only because of our low admission scores can we be admitted to a good university. What does a low admission score mean? It shows that your education is backward. So I came out from there, went to college, and ran to Henan nearly 2000 kilometers away in one breath.
When I came out, I found that people are so powerful. I found that our seriously rich people are not rich people in the city, but ordinary working-class people. So for most post-90s generation, resignation is sometimes just to pursue a better life or an ideal.
I participated in an entrepreneurial competition in college, and my 30,000-word entrepreneurial plan is still on my D disk. I also did a little business and sold it to a new router. A few people made thousands of dollars. The easier the money comes, the more we want to toss and turn, and the more we can't stop. There is no need to say too much about part-time jobs, because the three best things for me at that time were: 1, being able to fall in love, 2, being able to play infinite balls, and 3, being able to toss around.
In this way, when I was a junior, I started a business with a few friends. At that time, WeChat was in full swing. The words "new media" and "WeChat operation" and "internet plus" are passed down from mouth to mouth. Entrepreneurship and mass innovation are no longer patents. We feel that one day we will dominate the world. We will not be the next Ma Yun, but we will be the next ourselves.
Entrepreneurship is endless fantasy. Although it failed, it was exposed to the operation of this industry. Once it entered the operation, it was as deep as the sea. I have also changed jobs during the period, which is not part-time and formal work. I jumped ship twice, operating from the third party of the sales company WeChat, and then operating from the third party of WeChat to the cross-border e-commerce industry. I can't call it a career now, but I am very stable now, and my monthly income 1w is normal.
So the point is, I, after 90, why should I quit?
Because I want my parents to stop worrying about my future.
Because I want to make my long-distance girlfriend feel more secure.
Because, I want to have a car I like.
Because I want to live a "life" for myself.
Because I want my son to receive a better education.
Because I want to pursue what I want.
The material foundation is the premise of all this, and the economic foundation determines the superstructure.
So, can I understand that the high resignation rate is unique to the post-90 s, and it is a representative of the post-90 s who is more thoughtful, more pursuing, more active and more positive?
These are not gimmicks or chicken soup. A friend and mentor of mine also answered this question. He said: Have you ever seen the post-90s generation struggling in first-tier cities, but you are at a loss? Every generation has corresponding pressure.
I not only agree, but also want to add that the post-90s generation looks maverick, arbitrary, erratic and outspoken.
But in fact, more post-90s generation have ideas and clearly know what they want. Actually, I'm not an angry youth, and I don't want to be that outspoken person. I just want to say something for the post-90s generation who are striving for higher ideals and life.
Moreover, don't evaluate and compare the post-90 s. A single attribute can't explain anything. When the post-90s generation developed into the backbone of this society (not to mention now), look back. Maybe I'm the one who jumped ship the most.
