Brief introduction of Hongsha nuclear power plant

Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station is located in Hongsha Village, Guangpo Town, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Autonomous Region. It is planned to build six million kilowatt nuclear power units, which will be jointly invested by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group and Guangxi Investment Group. China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group is mainly responsible for project construction and operation management. In June, 2008, 5438+1October, 65438+1October, the National Development and Reform Commission agreed to carry out the preliminary work of Fangchenggang Hongsha Nuclear Power Project. Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station 1 Unit was put into commercial operation on 20 16 1. Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station plans to build six million kilowatt PWR nuclear power units. The two units of the first phase project adopt the improved PWR technology CPR 1000 independently designed by China General Nuclear Power Group, which is safe, mature and reliable. The construction of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station 1 unit has further improved the level of autonomy and localization of nuclear power in China, and the main equipment of nuclear island such as reactor pressure vessel and steam generator has been localized. The two units in the second phase of the project, as the demonstration units of Hualong No.1 (HPR 1000) with independent intellectual property rights in China, adopt Hualong No.1 technology and have an installed capacity of 1 18000 kW. At present, the work of Unit 2 of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station is progressing smoothly, and the construction of Unit 3 was officially started on February 24, 2005.
