The main responsibilities of the Social Security Bureau are as follows

1. 4. Responsible for vocational capacity building, coordinating the establishment of vocational training system: according to management authority, comprehensive management of public official training and continuing education of professional and technical personnel: supervision and management of technical schools, vocational skills training and assessment and appraisal institutions.

5. Improve the coordination mechanism of labor relations, supervise the implementation of the working hours of enterprise workers, the system of work and rest, and the special labor protection of female workers and underage workers: organize and implement the supervision of human resources and social security, dispute arbitration, coordinate the protection of the rights of workers and investigate and deal with major cases in accordance with the law.

6. In conjunction with the relevant departments, it carries out management services for migrant workers and coordinates the solution of key and difficult problems: it is responsible for carrying out regional labor cooperation.

7. It is responsible for the resettlement of military cadres and their families, and guides the management and service work of military cadres who choose their own jobs.

8. Responsible for the management of professional and technical personnel, postdoctoral management, high-level professional and technical personnel and highly skilled personnel planning, training, and deepen the reform of the title system.

9. In accordance with the management authority, responsible for administrative organs and institutions position management and civil servants, staff, employees management: integrated management of government awards.

10. Establishing a mechanism for normal wage increase and payment guarantee for personnel of organs and institutions: in accordance with administrative authority, comprehensively managing the welfare, retirement and dismissal of staff of organs and institutions.

11. In charge of the management and service work of foreign experts and other foreign personnel, overseas students coming to Shenzhen for employment and entrepreneurship, as well as Chinese employees of representative organizations of foreign (regional) enterprises: the overall management of the introduction of overseas intelligence, training abroad, and the work of international exchanges.

12. Undertake the responsibility of integrated management of human resources and social insurance funds.

13. Undertake the municipal government and other matters assigned by higher authorities.

Enterprises and institutions that cannot implement the uniform working hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph may flexibly arrange weekly rest days in accordance with the actual situation.

(5) Labor Day, 1 day off (the same day as the Lunar New Year); and

(4) Labor Day, a holiday (May 1);

(5) Dragon Boat Festival, a holiday (the day of the Dragon Boat Festival in the lunar calendar);

(6) Mid-Autumn Festival, a holiday (the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the lunar calendar);

(7) National Day, a holiday of three days (October 1, 2 and 3).
