When will Guangdong province realize the social security networking of the whole province?

Recently, I learned from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security that in addition to the relevant measures for barrier-free transfer of social security in Guangdong Province, social security cards will also be used throughout the province. By then, the social security card will be applied to employment, social security, civil affairs, health and other fields to realize the functions of medical treatment in different places, employment placement and social insurance relationship transfer and connection.

Guangdong's basic old-age insurance has always been in the leading ranks in the country, but as an economic province at the forefront of reform and opening up, the old-age insurance can not adapt to the economic development of the whole province. At present, it is still based on the city, and the social security in the province cannot be transferred smoothly and cannot be used in the province.

During the two sessions of Guangdong Province this year, Wang Jinghua, a member of the Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, submitted a proposal, and the provincial government studied and formulated policies to strive to achieve the overall planning of basic old-age insurance in the province. And realize the whole province's one card, so that the labor force, especially migrant workers, can enjoy the old-age treatment anywhere in the province after paying the insurance premium in full according to the regulations.

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security replied to the proposal, saying that the difficulty in transferring old-age insurance is mainly due to the failure to balance the interests of the transferring place and the transferring place. At present, Guangdong Province is speeding up the formulation of barrier-free transfer measures for the province's old-age insurance, and strives to introduce specific policies before the end of the year. It is reported that the transfer of endowment insurance in Guangdong Province can be realized within two years.

Regarding the proposal of "one card for the whole province" put forward by Committee member Wang Jinghua, the labor and social security department replied that at present, most prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province have issued social security cards. In the next step, we will coordinate the relevant departments to accelerate the application of social security cards in the fields of labor and employment, social security, civil affairs, health and so on in accordance with the idea of "one card is multi-purpose and universal in the whole province", promote the networking of the whole province, and gradually realize the services in different places such as endowment insurance, medical care, employment placement and social insurance relationship transfer.
