Article 5

Trans-provincial migrant workers who meet one of the following conditions can apply for the transfer of basic pension insurance relations:

1. If a man is less than 50 years old and a woman is less than 40 years old;

2. If he returns to the place of his household registration to participate in the insurance system;

3. If he is approved to be transferred by the organization department of the Party committee at or above the county level or by the administrative department of human resources and social security, and establishes a labor relationship with the unit he transfers into and pays the basic old-age insurance premiums;

4. If he meets the conditions of entitlement and his basic old-age insurance relationship is not in the place of his household registration, and the basic old-age insurance relationship is not in the place of his household registration. When the conditions for entitlement are met, the basic pension insurance relationship is not in the place of domicile, and the accumulated contribution period in the place of the basic pension insurance relationship is less than 10 years, and the basic pension insurance relationship is transferred back to the original place of insurance where the last contribution period was 10 years, or the place of insurance is transferred to the place of domicile due to the absence of a full 10 years of participation.
