Urumqi city 2015 annual social security contribution base increased

Urumqi City 2015 annual social security and medical insurance have been raised.

The 2015 degree is based on the average monthly salary of urban unit employees in the autonomous region in the previous year, i.e., 4,132 yuan, as the contribution base; for those who are engaged in flexible employment and have lower incomes, they can declare the contribution base at 60% or 50% of 4,132 yuan, i.e., 2,479 yuan or 2,066 yuan. The basic pension insurance contribution amount is paid at 20% of the selected contribution standard of the insured person, according to which the monthly contribution amount for the three grades is 826.4 yuan, 495.8 yuan and 413.2 yuan respectively.

The contribution base for individual flexibly employed people to participate in basic medical insurance in 2015 has also been determined, which is 4,224 yuan. According to this base, the contribution rate of basic medical insurance for active employees is 5%, the contribution rate of retirees is 4%, and the contribution rate of large medical benefits is 0.5%. Then, the total monthly contribution amount of 232.32 yuan for active employees, of which, the monthly contribution amount of 211.2 yuan for basic medical insurance and 21.12 yuan for large medical benefits; the total monthly contribution amount of 190.08 yuan for retirees, of which, the monthly contribution amount of 168.96 yuan for basic medical insurance and 21.12 yuan for large medical benefits.
