Is unemployment insurance paid to social security card or bank card?

Legal analysis: unemployment insurance is paid to social security card. Newly registered personnel who have received unemployment insurance benefits have already received social security cards and started medical insurance functions, and there is no need to provide accounts for applying for unemployment insurance benefits; Those who have not received the social security card and received the card but have not opened the medical insurance function still need to provide their bank account number for unemployment insurance. When the social security card account is abnormal and cannot be used normally, the unemployed can go to the unemployment insurance window of the Municipal Labor and Employment Management Office, or register and change the unemployment insurance application account on the street (township) people's social service platform.

Legal basis: Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Unemployment Insurance.

Article 17. If the unit where the unemployed person works and himself has paid more than 1 year but less than 5 years, the longest period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 12 months. If the accumulated payment time is less than 10 years, the longest period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 18 months; If the accumulated payment time exceeds 10 years, the longest period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 24 months; If you are unemployed again after re-employment, the payment time will be recalculated. The period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits can be combined with the period of unemployment insurance benefits that you should have received but did not receive in the previous unemployment, but the longest period shall not exceed 24 months.

Article 18 The standard of unemployment insurance benefits shall be determined by the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government at a level lower than the local minimum wage and higher than the minimum living standard for urban residents.
