There are five changes in social security in the second half of the year. What impact will these changes have on us?

This year, due to the epidemic situation, social security has also changed greatly, mainly in five aspects.

First, when pensions in various provinces rose in April, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced that pensions for retirees rose by 5%, which has been increasing continuously 16. Therefore, in the second half of the year, adjusting the pension will be one of the main projects of the provincial human resources and social security bureaus. Second, small and medium-sized enterprises are exempted from three social insurance premiums. Due to the epidemic, many small and medium-sized enterprises have been affected to some extent. Therefore, all localities have issued the Notice on Extending the Implementation Period of Enterprise Social Insurance Fee Reduction and Exemption Policy by Stages, which mainly delays the payment of social insurance premiums and does not charge late fees. This measure can effectively help enterprises tide over the recent difficulties.

Third, achieve provincial overall planning before the end of the year. At present, 20 provinces in China have started provincial-level overall planning, which shows that by the end of the year, all provinces will be able to achieve provincial-level overall planning. From municipal planning to provincial planning, the distribution of old-age insurance can be more secure, and it will also lay a good foundation for realizing national planning in the future.

The fourth business process uses social security cards. Almost everyone has it now. Slowly, the function of social security card will become more and more powerful. Social security cards will also be used throughout the pension business, and social security cards will be promoted in employment services, salary distribution, real-name management of migrant workers and other businesses. We can rely on social security cards to receive pensions.

Fifth, cancel the personal accounts of urban and rural residents' medical insurance before the end of the year. Because there are some disadvantages in the personal account of residents' medical insurance, which leads to insufficient protection for residents, it rarely plays a role in outpatient service, so the personal account will be cancelled at the end of the year. Although the personal account is cancelled, it will not reduce the medical insurance benefits of residents. Instead, it is outpatient co-ordination, and gradually realize that the medical expenses for minor outpatient diseases are paid by the co-ordination fund.
