How does social security bind family members?

There are three ways to bind family members with social security cards:

1. Self-service of social insurance service personal webpage: enter relevant information in personal webpage and bind it by yourself. The specific operation is as follows: log in to personal webpage-handle social security business-handle medical business-enjoy personal account family-add binding-input relatives' social security computer number, relatives' ID number and kinship-submit and save, and then complete binding. 2. Apply for the medical insurance window of the social security branches in each district: swipe your card at the medical insurance cash reimbursement window of the social security department, swipe your social security card, and enter your social security card number;

3. Designated hospital medical insurance office: In the hospital medical insurance office, you only need to swipe the user's card and input the user's social security card number through online hospital.

To bind a family member to a social security card:

1. Open the homepage of the electronic social security card and click "My"-"Family Service" in the upper right corner.

2. Click "Add"-after verifying the password of the electronic social security card, read the notice of adding family account.

3. After adding the name, social security number and family relationship of the account to be opened, click "Add family account" and upload the identity certificate (if the age is less than 16, you need to upload the facial photo at the same time).

4. The family service binds the object for face recognition, and the family service is successfully opened after the authentication. Electronic social security card family service is to provide convenient electronic social security card issuance and application services for children, parents or other family members. The function of family service is basically the same as that of families applying for electronic social security cards independently, which can help families to inquire about personal social security rights and interests, social security treatment qualification certification, social security online transfer application, social security card application status and so on.

Article 2 The term "social security card" as mentioned in these Measures refers to an integrated circuit card issued to the public and mainly used for government social management and public services in the fields of human resources and social security. The social security card is the electronic certificate for cardholders to enjoy social security and public employment services. It has the basic functions of information recording, information inquiry and business handling.

Article 3 Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security is responsible for managing the issuance and application of national social security cards. Provincial and municipal human resources and social security departments are responsible for the issuance and application management of social security cards in the region, and their subordinate information comprehensive management institutions specifically undertake the related affairs of social security card issuance and technical management.
