Pygmies, the name originally comes from the ancient Greek name for Central African dwarfs. Now it refers to the ethnic minorities living in Central Africa. They are the earliest indigenous people in Africa. Most pygmies live in thatched huts, hunt for a living, and occasionally even prey on termites like orangutans, believing that these are all gifts from nature. So far, pygmies have not been exposed to modern civilization, and are on the verge of extinction, and will soon be extinct from the world. For a long time, pygmies have become the prey of some tall black people because of their short stature. These black people listened to the words of the so-called witch doctor, making them believe that eating the bodies of pygmies can gain great power at once. Therefore, these blacks began to hunt pygmies in ignorance. This has also led to the pygmies' reluctance to contact the outside time and modern civilization, because in their minds, the unknown represents danger or life threat. In the Rwandan massacre, about 9,000 pygmies were eaten by superstitious Hutu violent elements, and the number shrank from the previous 29,000 to 20,000 after 100. These are all injuries to the pygmies, which have deepened their fear of the outside world to some extent.
